hope you all remember a really great tv series called mash! so ive been up to that usual diary-ring buisness! it starred alan alda (hawkeye pierce), loretta swit (margaret houlihan), mike farrell (b.j hunnicut), wayne rodgers (trapper), gary burghoff (radar), mclean stevenson (colonel henry blake), harry morgan (colonel sherman potter), larry linville (frank burns) etc the tv series was a spin-off from the film, m*a*s*h, directed by robert altman and starred donald sutherland (hawkeye pierce) and elliot gould (trapper). the only surviving cast member to make it onto the small screen from the film was gary burghoff who carried on the same role thankfully the film was made into a tv series and was such a hit it spanned loads more series and cast changes.

each episode was themed on the horror of war and how it effects those caught up in it, and the black comedy used to get through it all.
