cobweb (our cat) is running mad around the place so that can only mean one thing... its washday! he loves playing with socks and mixing the piles of clothes up! he is a manic! if you dont believe me, then try living with him... he isnt as sweet and innocent as he looks. washday means that cobwebturns into a devil!

still buying stuff for the front garden. the day this is all done will be the day i can sit back and breathe a sigh of relief. sometimes i dont think that day will come as people (ie - my dad) who said they would get slabs for me whilst shopping at sainsburys (homebase, where we got the slabs from, is only next door) arent doing their job properly!!! our front garden just looks like a pile of pot plants and stone animals and painted slabs as well as piles of soil and its driving me mad because i cant do anything until i get those slabs!!!!

anyway had a break after dragging badgers, sundials, and aztec style pots home yesterday. we went to borders!

now i love borders as not only is it this big huge bookstore that sells starbucks frappuccinos but my mate caz works there as well.

havent seen her for awhile but bumped into her yesterday and we had a great chat about reading festival, a.f.i (the band she loves!!!), and linkin park (the band i love!!!). she looked really great with the red eyeshadow she had on as well and it was really great to see her.

it has never been known for me to leave borders without buying anything and yesterday was definitly no exception!!! brought the thomas harris book 'red dragon', the self-titled third eye blind album, a marilyn monroe bookmark and 'spin' magazine. you can never get it here but i love it to bits! that god borders imports it!! im reading victoria beckham's autobiography 'learning to fly', and its actually quite good for a book you can just sit there and let run over your head. well you basically know her life so its easy to catch up! that and ive read both of geri's autobiographys!
